Sustainability is an important concept these days. Nature and the environment are under pressure every day. Fortunately, during your day out at Aviodrome, this is not a subject to worry about, because Aviodrome contributes to a good environment.

Led Lighting
Aviodrome continues to invest in being conscious of nature and the environment, which is an ongoing process. In 2024 we will replace the current lighting of some areas to energy-efficient (LED) lighting. For this we have received dispensation for standard 7.1 from GreenKey.
Sustainable food and drink
Aviodrome's restaurant serves Puro Fairtrade coffee and Lipton Rainforest Alliance tea. So you can enjoy delicious hot drinks in our park responsibly and sustainably. In addition to coffee and tea, other sustainable products are also available in our restaurant. For example, we also serve organic tomato soup, croquettes and frikandellen.
Sustainable cleaning
The kitchen of Aviodrome's restaurant uses environmentally friendly cleaning products from the Ecolab label.
Energy Savings
One of the components of Green Key certification is the creation of an energy savings plan. A good example of an energy-saving measure at Aviodrome is the use of a heat and cold storage system. The presence of this installation means that in winter, heat from the source is used to heat rooms and in summer, we can use this same source to cool the rooms again. In addition, all light sources are replaced with energy-efficient LED lighting and switched off when there is no occupancy. The energy used is purchased from Engie and is 100% generated by hydroelectric plants, using no fossil fuels.
Waste Management
An important part of sustainable business is the conscious handling of waste materials generated in the operation of the park. We work with a solid waste partner, namely Renewi. An important part is the separation of various types of waste and processing on the basis of recycling. We use paper with the FSC quality mark and in addition, we work digitally as much as possible and discourage unnecessary printing of documents and mails.
Cleaning
All cleaning agents and materials have the ECOLABEL seal of approval and are therefore 100% environmentally friendly. Utensils, such as cloths, are washed and reused. Hand soap and toilet paper are environmentally friendly.
Procurement Policy
Aviodrome has several suppliers who provide (mostly) sustainable products, for example organic or fair trade, 100% recycled or locally grown.
Monkey Foundation
Aviodrome supports the Aap Foundation. With the collection of cartridges, Stichting Aap receives a contribution which benefits this foundation. Aviodrome also supports the Hoogvliegers foundation and regularly makes tickets available for selected charities.
