Park regulations
To make a day at Aviodrome enjoyable for everyone.
Article 1. Applicability
Once one enters Aviodrome, one accepts the applicability of these regulations and is obliged to strictly follow all regulations and instructions given by Aviodrome staff.
For all cases and/or situations not covered by these regulations, Aviodrome reserves the right to make additional rules verbally and/or in writing to which visitors are bound.
In these regulations, 'Aviodrome' and 'the museum' also include the catering facilities, the theater, the outdoor area, the parking lot and the bicycle storage.
The regulations were established to ensure order and safety within Aviodrome.
Article 2. Entry and stay
Only a valid entrance ticket will allow you to enter the museum, through the designated entrance gates. This entrance ticket must also be shown in the museum upon request.
Entry tickets are valid only during the date indicated on the entry ticket and during the opening hours indicated at the ticket office. Aviodrome is authorized to change the opening hours.
The entrance ticket does not entitle the visitor to participate in sightseeing flights and the like. For these sightseeing flights, visitors must have a separate admission ticket from the company providing the sightseeing flights. For information on the sightseeing flights and purchase of tickets, please refer to the link of the company providing these sightseeing flights at www.aviodrome.nl/attracties/rondvluchten. Visitors participating in the sightseeing flights must also have a valid Aviodrome ticket.
Children under the age of 10 may enter the museum only under the continuous supervision and guidance of an adult (at least 18 years old).
Aviodrome is authorized to close (a) section(s) of the museum, without being held to any compensation to its visitors.
Pets are not allowed in the museum. There is an exception for registered assistance dogs, which are allowed on a leash.
It is not permitted to enter the museum beyond the ticket booths with a bicycle, scooter, balance bike, tricycle, roller skates, roller blades and/or, in Aviodrome's judgment, similar attributes.
The parking lot located at Aviodrome is owned and operated by Lelystad Airport. Once one parks in the parking lot one accepts the applicable parking conditions of Lelystad Airport. (Bicycles and mopeds should be placed in the bicycle parking area. There is paid parking. You pay for parking by entering your license plate number in the parking meters near the barriers.
One must remain inside the museum behind the fences and other fencing in place. It is not allowed to climb on or over walls, fences, barriers and other buildings and facilities, except for specific climbing equipment.
Trash should be deposited in the designated trash bins.
In the catering facilities, consumption is mandatory. It is not allowed to consume self-brought refreshments in the museum.
Visitors should hand over found objects in the museum to Aviodrome staff.
Advertising, conducting public surveys, counts, collections and offering goods and services on Aviodrome premises is not permitted unless written permission is obtained from the General Manager.
Promoting (religious) beliefs or holding demonstrations on the Aviodrome premises is not permitted unless written permission is obtained from the General Manager.
Aviodrome Aviation Museum is an smoke-free museum on smoke-free grounds. Smoking - including the smoking of e-cigarettes and vapes - is not permitted in or on museum grounds. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas.'
Article 3. Image and/or sound recordings
Aviodrome can make (or have made) image and/or sound recordings of its park and its visitors. Aviodrome and its affiliated companies are entitled to use and publish these recordings, for example for promotional purposes. Naturally, Aviodrome and its affiliated companies will take due care when doing so. Aviodrome and its affiliated companies shall not owe a fee for the use and publication of the recordings to its visitors. If you do not want to be in the picture, avoid places where you will see a filmmaker, film crew and/or photograher at work.
It is not permitted to make sound, photo and/or film recordings or other visual material for commercial purposes at the museum unless written permission has been obtained from the General Manager of Aviodrome.
Aviodrome has tried every way possible to trace the creator and/or the persons depicted in the images in our collection. Naturally, Aviodrome has exercised due diligence in doing so. If you believe that the use of an image infringes any right to which you are entitled, or damages your (privacy) interests, or if you know who created a particular image, please let us know.
Article 4. Sightseeing flights
Aviodrome makes parts of the museum available to third parties for the provision of sightseeing flights and the like. By purchasing a specific admission ticket from the company providing the sightseeing flights, the visitor enters into a separate agreement with this company.
The company providing the sightseeing flights is not affiliated with Aviodrome and is not considered a subordinate or auxiliary of Aviodrome and/or the concern of which Aviodrome is a part.
Article 5. Safety and liability
Aviodrome is entitled to deny access to visitors whom it believes or fears may disturb the order, peace and/or safety within the museum, without Aviodrome being liable for any compensation. Offences (or suspected offences) will be reported to the police.
When entering Aviodrome, visitors are required to comply strictly with all ordinances and regulations established or declared applicable by the municipality, fire department and/or other authorities concerning the museum. This also applies to laws and regulations not specifically described in this article.
Inside Aviodrome, it is not allowed:
enter attractions that are not currently open to the public;
to barbecue or have open fires;
have weapons or other, in Aviodrome's judgment, dangerous items on hand. Aviodrome reserves the right to confiscate these items;
Aviodrome uses video cameras for your and our safety.
Visiting Aviodrome is entirely at your own risk.
Safety regulations are listed with various attractions. These regulations must be strictly followed.
Aviodrome accepts no liability for personal injury and/or theft, loss, missing or damage to property of a visitor occurring during and/or as a result of participation in a sightseeing flight or similar activity as defined in Article 4 of these regulations.
Aviodrome accepts no liability for personal injury and/or theft, loss, missing or damage to property of its visitors occurring during and/or as a result of a visit to the museum (such as injury or damage occurring during the use of the apparatus and attractions present in the museum), except to the extent occurring as a result of intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of (the management of) Aviodrome.
Aviodrome shall not be liable for consequential damages, including loss of business and loss of income.
To the extent that Aviodrome is not entitled to appeal to the aforementioned limitations of liability, it shall be liable at most for the amount paid out under its liability insurance in the relevant case supplemented by the amount of the excess.
