Aviodrome participates in pilot for museum visit with rapid tests

Aviodrome Aviation Museum can be visited by some Museum Card holders during National Museum Week on April 23, 24 and 25. The Aviation Museum in Lelystad is taking part in a pilot for visiting museums with fast-track tickets.

The pilot is part of a series of cultural sector trials taking place during the month of April. Aviodrome Aviation Museum will open its doors to Museum Card holders on April 23, 24 and 25. Goals of the pilot are to test the infrastructure around quick testing and cultural visits, and to discover how this pleases visitors. This will make it more visible whether rapid testing can help revive social life.

Safe visits"It is extremely nice that we can participate in this trial. We are very happy to welcome visitors again at least for three days at the end of April. With this pilot we hope to contribute to the research to see if rapid testing is a way to get social life back on track in the short term," responds Serena van Kammen, general manager of Aviodrome.

"The museum is completely set up according to all guidelines. We showed last year that we are able to receive visitors in a safe and responsible manner. Therefore, we cannot wait until we can open the doors again," Van Kammen said.

Negative rapid test resultPeople with a Museum Card can reserve a time slot at the museum of their choice at www.museum.nl starting next week. Those who reserve a time slot at a museum will receive a link to make an appointment for a free rapid test. At the booked time, visitors can then enter with their Museum Card, proof of reservation and the negative quick test.
