Aviodrome closed as voting location Lower House elections
The aviation museum in Lelystad was one of the voting locations of the national Lower House elections today.
General manager Coen Hoozemans: "It was a special day! We started with a visit from the Mayor of Lelystad and the King's Commissioner. Then we were able to welcome hundreds of voters! From far and wide the voters came to Aviodrome with a special voter card. Even someone from Groningen! It is very special that this initiative has caused so much excitement. As a museum we naturally have a social function and today we were literally and figuratively at the center of it!"
On this day, it was possible to vote between 09:00 and 17:00. The ballot served as an admission ticket to the museum. Parking was also free for voters on this day.
