Radio room
The radio room in the historic Schiphol 1928 building shows you how you communicated with pilots in the air not so long ago.
In the radio room, among other things, you will learn more about Morse code, a code you use to transmit signals intermittently. And the fun part is; you can also learn Morse code yourself.
UNIQUE RADIO EQUIPMENT
The radio room is a room equipped with very unique, authentic radio equipment. There is always an enthusiastic Aviodrome employee or volunteer present who can tell you all kinds of things about communicating with the pilots. But also about all forms of navigation.
MORSE PAGER TO TAKE HOME
In this communications stronghold, you can also learn how to signal certain messages in Morse code. For €10, children can buy a morse pager. Nice to take with you on your flight back home. Signal secret messages in Morse code to each other at home with your friends, just like they used to do!
